My passion for great food, done well, started long before I became a Chef. It’s the reason I created a successful career lasting over forty years in the Food Service Industry. And now, having retired from that full time journey, I want to continue to share that enthusiasm. Throughout that journey I’ve met some great people, learned so much and only grew that zeal for great food, done well!

One of my many passions is Bar B Que, especially competitive BBQ. I’ve had the great fortune for eight years to be on a four-time world champion BBQ team, at Memphis in May.

Another interest of mine is doing small, more intimate gatherings where my skills as a Chef can shine.
Sommelier
Wine Dinners are a favorite. I’ve recently worked to become a “Certified Expert in Wine” So now I can take my love for both food and wine, and work with my customers to create that one-of-a-kind experience.
Competitions
One of my many passions is Bar B Que, especially competitive BBQ. I’ve had the great fortune for eight years to be on a four-time world champion BBQ team, at Memphis in May.
I’ve competed against some of the best teams in the world. I’ve also met there some of the kindest most giving people you could ever hope to know. Many of them I see every day on the various food networks.
From that came the creation ten years ago of my own BBQ Team, Cream City Q

Weather it’s using my newly custom-built BBQ Smoker & Grill to bring that fun, high quality menu to groups of 25 to 75 people, or four couples sitting down in the home of a friend, for an evening of food and wine! Or maybe it’s a light reception with specialty appetizers and Hors d’oeuvres. Let’s create a menu that’s fun, unique, and elevated, no matter the occasion!
